Changing your Nameserver for a Domain Name

What is a Nameserver?

A Nameserver is the intenert address of the hosting service where your domain name will be hosted.

This is a video demonstration of changing your Nameserver or DNS record to another hosting account. I use www.GoMyDomain.com to buy my domain names. They are an affiliate of GoDaddy and are cheaper. Then I actually set up the website or blog on Host Gator as they have CPanel and are compatible with all the WordPress blogs and website development software out there. Take my word for it and save your self a lot of trouble and host on Host Gator.

The Nameserver Host

So once I purchase my domain name . I buy domain names at GoMyDomain where they are a few cents above wholesale pricing.
These are GoDaddy’s servers and they are excruciatingly slow also they do not support CPanel, so use Host Gator. Cpanel is more configurable and support more application services .
